KEEP QUALITY IN. KEEP RUST OUT

When used on Agricultural equipment protects from rust, oxidation, and damage caused by fertilizer, manure, road salt, etc. All of these can build up on the interior engine compartment, floorboards, and exterior body of your equipment, ultimately causing premature rust damage.

Corrosive materials can also cause the paint to fade, but no worries EquipCoat® will even restore paint gloss and will also make it easier to clean your equipment.

EquipCoat® will not yellow, chip, crack, or peel.

Q. What is EquipCoat®?

A. It is a clear polymer resin coating applied to new and used machinery to control rust and corrosion damage. It will also restore paint color and gloss on older equipment.

Q. Can EquipCoat® be used on receiving hoppers and chutes?

A. Yes, it can be used on the hopper’s outsides, but it should not be used on the inside because of material friction.

Q. Is this the same clear coat used on cars?

A. No, EquipCoat® is very different in chemical structure from automotive lacquer clear coat. Most automotive clear coats are two-part coatings that don’t have flexibility. EquipCoat® is self-bonding and will blend to itself, and will remain flexible throughout its life. When properly applied, EquipCoat® will never yellow, peel or crack.

Q. How long does it last?

A. EquipCoat® can last for many years and should be maintained with periodic cleaning. Touch up, and reapplication may be needed in circumstances where your equipment is exposed to corrosive chemicals or under heavy impact.

Q. How is EquipCoat® applied?

A. With the proper application training, EquipCoat® is applied within a day. Using the Crystal Shield System™, the procedure starts with removing any pre-existing coatings such as Cosmoline, Fluid Film®, and any exposed grease.

The next step is thoroughly clean to remove any contaminants. Once the machine is dried, all glass and large decals are taped and papered. At this point, the Equipcoat® resin is applied using an automotive type spray gun.

Q. Should EquipCoat® be applied to the plastic engine cover and fenders?

A. It is not necessary to use EquipCoat® on plastic parts as these don’t rust. However, EquipCoat® application is recommended for older faded plastic parts to restore gloss and color.
